Solution structure of native and recombinant expressed toxin CssII from the venom of the scorpion Centruroides suffusus suffusus, and their effects on Nav1.5 Sodium channels

► A novel 3D structure of a scorpion neurotoxin was solved. ► A correct folding and disulfide pairing were observed in its recombinant form. ► The native and the recombinant neurotoxins maintained their electrophysiological properties.
