A novel 2D layered network based on 13-vanadomanganate(IV): K3(HABOB)4[MnV13O38] · 9H2O (ABOB = N-amidino-4-morpholincarboxamidine)

A novel organic-inorganic hybrid based on unusual heteropolyvanadate, [MnV13O38]7−, was prepared and it represents the first example of structural information regarding the interaction between organic component and tridecavanadomanganate at molecular level. It exhibits interesting 2D layered network with 1D tunnel.
