Isomeric spiro and ansa macrocyclic derivatives of spiro-aminopropanoxy-cyclotriphosphazene

Two stepwise reactions of cyclotriphosphazene with the same two reagents (tetraethyleneglycol and 3-amino-1-propanol) added in different order mainly gave different spiro and ansa derivatives and in particular, two geometric isomers of the mono-ansa derivative in which the macrocycle is either cis or trans to the NH group of the spiro-aminopropanoxy group.
