HPMC reinforced with different cellulose nano-particles

► Nano-fibrils cellulose and cellulose whiskers incorporated into HPMC edible films. ► Cellulose whiskers reinforced the HPMC films. ► Cellulose whiskers also improved the water barrier properties of the HPMC films. ► Addition of cellulose whiskers did not compromise the transparency of the HPMC films.
