Mechanical improvement of P(VDF-TrFE) /nickel nanowires conductive nanocomposites: Influence of particles aspect ratio

► Mechanical analysis nanocomposites with low nanowires content < 10 vol% . ► Shear modulus increase of 300% for 5 vol%. ► 5 vol% seems to be the limit to maintain the mechanical properties. ► This limit is higher than the 1 vol% of NWs necessary to obtain percolation threshold. ► HT model link the mechanical behavior to the aspect ratio of randomly dispersed NWs.
