Fast pyrolysis of coffee grounds: Characteristics of product yields and biocrude oil quality

▸ Fast pyrolysis of coffee grounds was carried out to obtain biocrude oil. ▸ The maximum yield of biocrude oil (54.85 wt.%) is obtained at 823 K. ▸ Lipid is observed in biocrude oil produced over 723 K by 1/100 scale microscope.
