Effects of conjugated linoleic acid on oxidative stress in rats with sucrose-induced non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

► The beneficial effect of CLA on oxidative stress in rats was studied. ► Steatosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease were induced in the rats by sucrose. ► CLA reduced oxidative stress markers. ► CLA decreased the extent of steatosis as assessed by histological analysis.
