Synthesis and characterizations of Zn(II) and Co(II) coordination polymers based on 5-acetamidoisophthalate

Seven Zn(II) and Co(II) coordination polymers based on 5-acetamidoisophthalate were presented, the introduction of bis(imidazol-1-yl-methyl)benzene ligands results in uncoordination of acetamido group owing to their competitive coordination. The orientation of bis(imidazolyl) groups at aromatic rings shows important effects on the structures of coordination polymers.224
