Size effect of Al particles on the structure and oxidation of Ni/Ni3Al composites transformed from electrodeposited Ni–Al films
چکیده انگلیسی

γ/γ′ composites were developed by the conversion of electrodeposited Ni–Al films with dispersed Al particles in Ni matrix into Ni3Al by vacuum annealing at 600 °C for 4 h. The oxidation resistance at 1000 °C was greatly increased for the γ/γ′ composite prepared from the electrodeposits containing 10 wt.% nano-sized Al particles compared with that containing micro-sized particles with a similar weight percentage. The effect of the Al particle size on the structure and oxidation of the transformed γ/γ′ composite is discussed.
