Experimental determining the alternative coherent-mode representation of a planar source

► Alternative coherent-mode representation of a planar optical source is proposed. ► This representation does not involve solving the Fredholm integral equation. ► It can be constructed using the results of usual radiometric measurements. ► The results of mathematical simulation confirm an efficiency of the proposed representation.
