The cross-spectral density matrix of a planar, electromagnetic stochastic source as a correlation matrix

It is shown that the cross-spectral density matrix of a planar, secondary, stochastic electromagnetic source is a correlation matrix. Unlike a previously published proof of this result, our derivation is based on the solution of two uncoupled, rather than two coupled, integral equations.
