The design, fabrication and indoor experimental characterisation of an isolated cell photovoltaic module

► Isolated cells PV module was designed, fabricated and experimentally characterised. ► Current and power output for cells without CPC was approximately constant. ► Cell performance for cells with CPC varied with location of the cell in PV module. ► High current and power output was generated for cells in peak illumination regions. ► Power loss was higher for cells in peak illumination regions than in low regions.
