Differential cross sections for pμ+H2pμ+H2 and dμ+D2dμ+D2 scattering using the Morse potential
چکیده انگلیسی

Quantum-mechanical calculations of the differential cross sections for pμ+H2pμ+H2 and dμ+D2dμ+D2 scattering have been performed using the Morse potential for the interaction of nuclei in the hydrogenic molecules. The rotational-vibrational transitions and dissociation of these molecules are taken into account. The spin-flip processes of the muonic atoms are also considered. The differential cross sections, calculated for centre-of-mass collision energies ε⩽30 eVε⩽30 eV, are needed for a correct description of many experiments in low-energy muon physics.
