Magnetic properties and hysteresis loops of pure graphone nanoribbons (GONR) are studied using both Monte Carlo calculations and mean field theory. This study is relevant for understanding the magnetic behavior of pure GONR that exhibits magnetism due to the localized electrons on the carbon atoms without hydrogens.
