Temperature-tuned Maxwell-Boltzmann neutron spectra for kT ranging from 30 up to 50Â keV for nuclear astrophysics studies

► We expand the use of the accelerator-based 7Li(p,n)7Be reaction for astrophysics. ► High-quality stellar (Maxwell-Boltzmann) neutron spectra are calculated. ► Easy control of the proton beam shape can produce the desired neutron spectrum. ► Weighted fit increases accuracy in settling on the neutron spectrum temperature.
