Ontogenetic influence on rat susceptibility to lindane seizure after pretreatment with phencyclidine

► Pubertal rats are more sensitive to lindane-induced seizures than adults. ► Phencyclidine (PCP) pretreatment increases the synchronization of brain activity. ► PCP pretreatment increases susceptibility to lindane-induced synchronization. ► Lindane induces shift to the theta in pubertal and to the alpha waves in adult rats.
