Ein unzureichender Ernährungszustand beeinträchtigt notwendige Therapien und verschlechtert die Prognose. Vor selbst ernannten Krebsdiäten mit Heilsversprechungen wird gewarnt. Wichtige Syndrome bei Krebs sind in der chinesischen Medizin Qi-Stagnation, Blut- Stase, Nässe, Schleim und toxische Hitze. Chinesische Diätetik wirkt als mildes Therapeutikum. Als flexible, undogmatische Ernährung bietet sie in den verschiedenen Stadien der Erkrankung individuelle Essempfehlungen als Teil eines integrativen Ernährungskonzeptes.
