Entstehung und Ergebnisse eines Forschungsvorhabens für die Desinfektion von Persönlicher Schutzausrüstung der Gefahrenabwehreinheiten

Disinfection within the context of emergency management of biological incidents is challenging. The time for disinfection of vehicles, equipment and especially personal protection equipment (PPE) is limited. The use of standardized disinfection protocols is almost impossible for different working time and temperature conditions. Therefore it is necessary to develop a new standardized test method for the disinfection of PPE resembling real-life conditions using a disinfectant with short reaction time. This article presents the development of the research project and a short summary of the results.
