چکیده انگلیسی
Ethics cannot be regarded as an extra coating, laid up from the outside, upon a pattern of mere technical practices. As soon as human beings are at stake (namely disadvantaged children), one is obviously mired into an ethical relationship. In such a framework, whichever goals and means are designed, should never aim at, nor contribute to, anything else than improving as much as possible the beneficiary's condition as a whole. Nothing could be worse than benchmarking a given person against a preset rate of achievement, which would end up in sidetracking him or her. Indeed, as soon as a person exists, no matter how she turns out looking like, she is a unique being that no one can replace. Inasmuch as she cannot be traded against any other value, she does not have a price - she is endowed with dignity. Therefore, caring about those people, whom either nature or accidents have stripped from enjoying as good a health as others do, is indeed a duty, reaching far beyond the purview of Justice to tally the requirements of Fraternity itself.
