Tratamiento homeopático de la hipertensión

ResumenEl presente artículo se basa en la exposición efectuada por el Dr. Bernard Payrau sobre la hipertensión arterial (HTA) y su tratamiento homeopático en el seno de las IV Jornadas de la Sociedad Médico Homeopática de Cantabria (Santander, octubre de 2008).La HTA es una enfermedad con gran prevalencia y representa un importante factor de riesgo cardiovascular, por lo que es muy importante su detección y tratamiento tempranos.La Homeopatía puede emplearse tanto en la prevención de la enfermedad (influyendo sobre los factores estresantes que ponen en marcha los mecanismos favorecedores de la HTA) como en su tratamiento (ya sea como medicación única o combinada con los antihipertensivos convencionales), facilitando la elección del tipo de medicación con un mecanismo de acción más adecuado al terreno del paciente, produciendo sinergias terapéuticas, al tiempo que permite reducir los efectos secundarios y ayuda a frenar el deterioro vascular. Desde esta óptica, la homeopatía se revela como una herramienta terapéutica muy útil en la hipertensión arterial.

The present article is based on the presentation made by Dr. Bernard Payrau on hypertension and its homeopathic treatment in the Fourth Meeting of the Society of Homeopathic Medicine of Cantabria (Santander, October 2008).Hypertension is highly prevalent and represents a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The detection and early treatment of this disorder are therefore essential.Homeopathy can be used both in prevention of the disorder (influencing stress factors that trigger the mechanisms encouraging hypertension) and in its treatment (whether as a single medication or combined with conventional antihypertensive agents), facilitating the choice of the type of medication with a mechanism of action more appropriate to the patient's susceptibility and producing therapeutic synergies, as well as reducing adverse effects and helping to halt vascular deterioration. From this perspective, homeopathy is a highly useful tool in hypertension.
