L'échelle de déambulation d'Algase : contribution à l'évaluation d'un dispositif de soins

Wandering is a behavioral disorder commonly observed in Alzheimer's disease. If it has beneficial effects for patients, it also has adverse effects. The RAWS-LTC aims to accurately and objectively assess this behavior. It is composed of three sub-scales: persistent walking, spatial disorientation and eloping behavior, assessing the problematic nature of this behavior and the dimensions involved. Through the case of Mr. D, we illustrate how use of this tool has helped to provide appropriate care.
