Seismic structure of the upper mantle along the long-range PNE profiles - rheological implication

► The seismic profiling with Peaceful Nuclear Explosions has been made in. ► The study revealed three upper mantle layers with different rheology. ► Two upper layers are the brittle and ductile lithosphere parts.► The third layer is the solid state matter asthenosphere. ► The layers are divided by weak zones at depths of 100-150 and 200-250 km.
