A novel organometallic macrocycle based on half-sandwich ruthenium motif

A novel metallamacrocycles based on half-sandwich ruthenium is built up by quinolin-8-ol organic compound utilized as organic linker using one-pot methodology under mild conditions. X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals its specific molecular structure of trinuclear geometry surrounded by four nitrate radicals and located one nitrate radical in its inner space.78
