Evaluation of cellular uptake, cytotoxicity and cellular ultrastructural effects of heteroleptic oxidovanadium(IV) complexes of salicylaldimines and polypyridyl ligands

Eight novel oxidovanadium(IV) complexes with salicylaldimine Schiff base ligands and NN-polypyridyl co-ligands showed cytotoxicity on different human tumor cell lines. Subcellular distribution and ultrastructural effects were studied.211
