Expanding the nasturlexin family: Nasturlexins C and D and their sulfoxides are phytoalexins of the crucifers Barbarea vulgaris and B. verna

Barbarea species produce phenyl-containing phytoalexins unrelated to indolyl phytoalexins, the nasturlexins C and D and the corresponding sulfoxides.
