Chemical constituents from fruits of Harrisonia perforata
چکیده انگلیسی
► Fruits of Harrisonia perforata were phytochemically investigated for the first time. ► The present research led to isolation of eight limonoids (1-8), displaying four different carbon skeletons. ► Compounds 1-3 with highly rearranged A, B and D-seco-16-nor skeletons, were closely related to limonoids from Cneorum tricoccum (Cneoraceae) and Cedrelopsis grevei (Ptaeroxylaceae). ► The structural similarity of limonoids in these species suggest that these taxa are closely related which are in agreement with the conclusion by Waterman.
