Aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Galinsoga parviflora and Galinsoga ciliata. Investigations of caffeic acid derivatives and flavonoids by HPTLC and HPLC-DAD-MS methods

- In Galinsoga extracts as dominating compounds caffeoylglucaric acids were detected.
- Three HPTLC systems to fingerprinting the extracts were developed.
- Aqueous extracts are essentially different in composition than the ethanolic extracts.
