Artostyracins A-C, three new isoprenylated 2-arylbenzofurans from Artocarpus styracifolius

From the root of Artocarpus styracifolius, three new isoprenylated 2-arylbenzofurans named artostyracins A-C (1-3, resp.) were isolated along with the known one moracin N (4). All of these compounds exhibited significantly inhibitory activity on respiratory burst of rat neutrophils stimulated by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate.
