Two new germacranolides from Elephantopus tomentosus

► Both tomenphantopin C and tomenphantopin D were new compounds. ► All compounds were isolated for the first time from Elephantopus tomentosus. ► Compounds 4 and 6 were isolated for the first time from Elephantopus. ► The compounds 2-5 were found to possess cytotoxic activities and antibacterial activities.
