Structure and absolute configuration of a visamminol derivative using IR and vibrational circular dichroism

► A new dihydrofurochromone was isolated from the aerial parts of Arracacia tolucensis. ► NMR measurements failed to assign the structure unambiguously. ► IR and VCD calculations nicely established the structure.
