Efficient solvent-free aminolysis of epoxides and oxetanes under MgBr2·OEt2 catalysis

An efficient and rapid procedure is developed for room temperature ring opening of various epoxides with aromatic and aliphatic amines under solvent-free conditions in the presence of catalytic amount of magnesium bromide ethyl etherate. The procedure showed to be applicable to oxetane systems as well.
