Selective synthesis of δ-lactone via palladium nanoparticles-catalyzed telomerization of CO2 with 1,3-butadiene

An efficient method for the selective synthesis of δ-lactone from CO2 and 1,3-butadiene was developed with palladium nanoparticles as catalyst and without any additional ligand.
