Synthesis of transparent ZnO/PMMA nanocomposite films through free-radical copolymerization of asymmetric zinc methacrylate acetate and in-situ thermal decomposition

▶ ZnO/PMMA hybrid films were prepared via free-radical polymerization and in-situ thermal decomposition. ▶ ZnO NCs are homogeneously dispersed in the PMMA matrix and these films have good optical properties. ▶ Thermal stability of these films is improved compared with those of physically blending ones.
