Probing the interaction of flower-like CdSe nanostructure particles targeted to bovine serum albumin using spectroscopic techniques

► Estimate the binding of flower-like CdSe NP to BSA by spectroscopic methods. ► Hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces were the major forces. ►Addition of CdSe changed the micro-environmentl of BSA. ► Decrease in α-helix of BSA secondary structure induced by CdSe.
