Thin films of asymmetrically substituted “ABAB-Type” indium phthalocyanine chloride: Preparation, structural characterization and optical properties

► In this work thin films of indium phthalocyanine chloride complex InPcCl 9 have been fabricated for the first time. ► The structural and optical properties of the films have been investigated. ► They are also highly chemically stable and show interesting optical properties.
