Assembly of CeO2-TiO2 nanoparticles prepared in room temperature ionic liquid on graphene nanosheets for photocatalytic degradation of pollutants

► Synthesis of CeO2-TiO2 (CT) by using room temperature ionic liquid. ► Preparation of CT-graphene by reaction of the graphene oxide with CT. ► Application of CT-graphene as photocatalysts for the degradation of pollutants. ► CT-graphene has highest photocatalytic activity among other photocatalysts.
