⺠Nicotine-induced StAR inhibition in two human adrenal cell models. ⺠Nicotine-induced single CpG site methylation in StAR promoter. ⺠Persistent StAR inhibition and single CpG methylation after nicotine termination. ⺠Single CpG methylation located at Pax6 binding motif regulates StAR expression.
