Simulations of the influence of lake area on local temperature with the COSMO NWP model

The impact of the Most Lake on its surrounding temperature at 2 m calculated by the ALAKE model. Maximum increase and decrease of temperature are shown in figures (a) and (b), respectively, for the warm part of a year.
