Preparation of lanthanum and boron co-doped TiO2 by modified sol-gel method and study their photocatalytic activity

- La and B co-doped TiO2 has been successfully synthesized by a modified sol-gel method.
- The prepared catalyst 1%La-B-TiO2 shows the highest photocatalytic activity up to 93%.
- Lanthanum doping could separate photogenerated holes and electrons efficiently.
- Boron doping could narrow the band gap of titania.
