Effect of light, nutrient, cultivation time and salinity on lipid production of newly isolated strain of the green microalga, Botryococcus braunii KMITL 2

► Isolation of indigenous algae from reservoir in the central of Thailand. ► The modification of the culture condition could enhance the lipid yield. ► Optimum cultivation time for this algal strain was 20 days and with no salt. ► Proved that this algal strain could be a potential source of biodiesel.
