Application of subsynchronous damping controller (SSDC) to STATCOM

► The designed SSDC has been applied successfully to damping the all unstable modes. ► Only one signal that is easily measurable is used in SSDC design. ► The designed SSDC is investigated analytically and results verified by simulations.
