Synthesis, characterization and corrosion evaluation on new cationomeric polyurethane water dispersions and their polyaniline composites

► New cationomeric polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) based on IPDI, PEGs and N-MDEA. ► PUD-polyaniline blends prepared. ► The conductivity attained is in the range 1.2 × 10−5 to 3.7 × 10−5 S/cm. ► Highest corrosion protection by PUD-2000-PAni6% composite. ► Conductivity range useful for electrostatic discharge or sensors.
