Evaluation of mobile phone and Internet intervention on waist circumference and blood pressure in post-menopausal women with abdominal obesity

► The mobile phone and internet intervention improved waist circumference and body weight at 12 weeks in post-menopausal women. ► A significant mean decrease in blood pressure was observed for the intervention group. ► The web-based intervention using mobile phone and Internet decreased total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol.
