Bifurcation and Fractal of Triangle Folding Map

There are many kinds of models that include chaotic properties in the field of physics, bionomics and so on. To understand these models, it is so important to study mechanisms of chaos that triangle folding map is proposed as a simple model of chaos. In this study, we redefine a constant in the previous study as a parameter and analyze triangle folding map. Chaos in logistic map can be explained for bifurcation phenomena of periodic solutions, and therefore we predict that bifurcation phenomena play a role of causing chaos in triangle folding map. Specifically, we examine the periodic solutions as the parameter of triangle folding map and study the relevance to mechanisms of chaos.
