Complex diagnostic index for actual technical condition assessment for gas turbine engine (GTE) as part of the aircraft, as part of gas turbine plants (GTP) and a self-diagnosis facility - during complex and labor-intensive tests and exploitation has been proposed. In this method, a previously rarely used term - parameter that specifies the mode (PSM) was suggested. It is proposed to control the relative deviation (from the original model) GTP characteristics - individual parameters dependencies from PSM. From the combination of these diagnosed parameters and exploitation characteristics deviations opportunity has been provided for GTE remaining life evaluation for each of the possible defects. It can significantly improve the accuracy of parametric diagnostic GTE and GTP, to organize the protection of the surge in exploitation. Without changing the existing periodic testing technology GTE and heat engineering tests of GTP, the new data processing algorithm has been proposed to compute the index value, which can permit to control the accumulation of certain types of defects, to predict (using the method of phase portraits) changes GTE and GTP state with increasing operating time and, taking this into account, to plan (individually for each specific product) stops for routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair and decommissioning. The proposed method can be used to monitor the status of aggregates and systems in energy, transport and other areas.
