World energy intensity convergence revisited: A weighted distribution dynamics approach

► Energy intensity convergence is analysed in the case of 83 countries. ► We use the dynamic of the distribution approach. ► We weight the distribution by population of each country. ► Results indicate that weighting by population matters in the analysis. ► Multimodality is observed in the stationary distribution.
