Convergence of discrete approximation of BV solution of a class of singular diffusion equations

We present an explicit difference scheme for a singular diffusion equation, which has a unique entropy solution. By establishing a series of estimates of the discrete solution, we prove the convergence of the discrete approximation to the BV solution.
