Interactions of anti-Parkinson drug benserazide with Zn(II), Cu(II), Fe(II) ions

► Interactions of benserazide with Zn(II), Cu(II) and Fe(II) ions are described. ► The CID fragmentation method was applied to the analysis of benserazide complexes. ► The ternary complex of Fe(II) ions with benserazide and levodopa was observed.
