Serum profiling of leptospirosis patients to investigate proteomic alterations

► Alteration in serum proteome in Leptospirosis was investigated. ► Classical 2DE and 2D-DIGE were used for serum proteome profiling. ► Differentially expressed serum proteins were identified using MALDI TOF/TOF MS. ► Study enhanced understanding about leptospirosis pathogenesis and provided a glimpse of host immunological responses.
