Development of Gd3+-immobilized glutathione-coated magnetic nanoparticles for highly selective enrichment of phosphopeptides

We prepared Gd3+-immobilized glutathione-coated magnetic nanoparticles as the adsorbent for the selective enrichment of phosphopeptides by coupling with MALDI-TOF MS. The designed material was successfully applied to enrich phosphopetides from standard peptide mixtures, non-fat milk digests, and human serum.169
